Helene Kibler learned the Ukrainian art of painting Easter eggs, or Pysanka, as a child attending Ss. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic School in Auburn. She demonstrates the process here, writing with beeswax and coloring with four dyes. St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Irondequoit will hold a Pysanka workshop March 12 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
