A nationally known expert on the Gospel of Mark will speak on “A Rip in the Sky: Mark’s story of God on the loose in our world,” from 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Dec. 12, at St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry, 120 French Road, Pittsford.
Mark Alan Powell, a professor of New Testament at Trinity Lutheran Seminary and a minister with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is a member of the executive committee of the Catholic Bible Association.
