Father Frederick Eisemann will celebrate a Mass in Italian and English in honor of St. Anthony at 7 p.m. June 12 at Holy Cross Church, 4492 Lake Ave., Charlotte.
The Holy Cross Choir will lead the congregation in singing traditional Italian sacred songs. At the end of Mass, a procession will lead the congregation to the outside shrine of St. Anthony for a blessing.
Following the blessing there will be a complimentary wine and cheese party in the parish center that also will feature lemonade, coffee and cookies. Entertainment for the party will be provided by Karen LaBella, singer, 12-string guitarist and entertainer.
