A Mass for the full recovery of Rochester City Police Officer Anthony DiPonzio will be held at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Our Lady of Victory/St. Joseph Church, 210 Pleasant St., Rochester. Father Ronald Antinarelli will preside.
DiPonzio was shot in the back of the head Jan. 31 while responding to a drug-activity complaint. A collection taken during the Mass will be donated to the officer’s family for his medical expenses.
