Law-enforcement personnel are invited to attend the 10 a.m. Mass May 28 at St. Alphonsus Parish, 85 E. Genesee St., Auburn, where they will receive a special blessing.
During the Mass the faith community will publicly acknowledge and ask for God’s blessing upon police officers, sheriff’s deputies, state troopers, prison guards, volunteer police officers, security guards and anyone else in the field of law enforcement.
