A panel presentation, “Affordable Health Care for All,” will take place Tuesday, May 19, at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish community center (Schnacky Center), 26 Mendon Ionia Road, Mendon.
Scheduled panelists are: Lynn Doescher, manager, Fidelis Care; Mike Green, Monroe County District Attorney; Dr. Anthony Solazzo, a practicing physician in the Monroe County area; and Sister Christine Wagner, SSJ, director of St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center in Rochester.
The May 19 event is being held in conjunction with a yearlong focus by the diocesan Public Policy Committee on access to health care. Each panelist will speak for 10 minutes on how health care — and/or the lack thereof — intersects with her/his work, and what needs to be done. An open question-and-answer session will follow.
