The annual Walk for Life to benefit Geneva’s Care Net Pregnancy Care Center of the Finger Lakes will be held May 21.
Registration for the walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the center, located at 551 Exchange St. in Geneva, and the walk will conclude at Genesee Park, where refreshments will be available. Walkers will be carrying pro-life signs and will stop along the way to pray and hand out bracelets and balloons.
Those interested in participating in the walk may pick up pledge forms at the center or request forms by e-mailing pccgeneva@hotmail.com. Prizes will be awarded to the family, individual and teen who raise the most money for the center, and the participant with the most unique sneakers will win a $25 Walmart gift card.
For a donation of at least $5, individuals who cannot participate in the walk will be able to have their names written on "sneakers for life," which walkers will carry along with them during the Walk for Life.
