McQuaid clinches Section 5 Class AA baseball championship

The McQuaid Jesuit Knights baseball team defeated Victor 2-1 to take the Section 5 Class AA championship May 31 at Frontier Field in Rochester. McQuaid will go on to face Section 6 champions Orchard Park in the regional round of the state tournament June 4 at Monroe Community College.
