Daniel P. Behan has been named as the new administrator of Rochester’s McQuaid Jesuit Middle School, effective July 1.
He replaces Joseph L. Marchese, who accepted a position as principal of La Salle College Preparatory School near Philadelphia.
Behan has been a teacher at McQuaid for 15 years. In his new position, he will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the middle school and will continue to teach one section of English.
Behan has a master’s degree in education from Roberts Wesleyan College, and a bachelor’s degree in English and French from LeMoyne College.
He and his wife, Nancy, reside in Rochester with their two children.
