Fresh on the heels of its Jan. 19 discussion about local Catholic-Jewish relations, St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Mendon soon will host a discussion about Muslim and Catholic relations in the Rochester region.
This next installment of the parish’s annual discussion series will be held March 15 at 7 p.m. in the church, located at 26 Mendon-Ionia Road in Mendon. Bernard Grizard, director of the Diocese of Rochester’s Department of Parish and Clergy Services, and Dr. Muhammad Shafiq, executive director of Nazareth College’s Hickey Center for Interfaith Studies and Dialogue, will speak about "Interfaith Friends in a Fractured World: Catholics and Muslims."
