Mercy High School slates summer camps

Our Lady of Mercy High School, 1437 Blossom Road, Brighton, will host the following summer camps:

* “Adventure into the Science of Forensics” will be held July 17-21 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. The camp, which is open to girls entering grades 5-8, will explore the techniques utilized to solve a mystery.

* “Adventure into Art” will be held July 17-21 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Participants entering grades 5-8 will work with various mediums and display their work in an art exhibit for families on the last day of camp.

* “Music Adventure” will be held July 24-28 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Girls entering grades 6-9 may choose to participate in instrumental or vocal adventures. Participants will perform in large and small groups and will perform for families on the last day of camp.

* “Technology Camp” will be held July 24-28 from noon to 3 p.m. Girls entering grades 5-8 will work with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to create newsletters, brochures and presentations. The camp also will cover the Web, Internet safety and Web quests.
