Mercy Outreach Center will celebrate its 30th birthday with a gala from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Artisan Works, 565 Blossom Road, Rochester.
The event will be an evening of food, fun and friendship, as well as fundraising on behalf of the center’s ministry to the uninsured and underserved.
There also will be a presentation to honorees at 7:15 p.m. Nine volunteers who have served for more than 20 years will be honored: Lucia Unger; Lenora Malick; Anna Bradshaw, registered nurse; Dr. Stew Beecher; Dr. Carolyn Mok; Carolyn Braddock, family nurse practitioner; Frank Payne; Rick Micoli, dentist; and Heidi Tyler, registered nurse.
