Our Lady of Mercy High School in Brighton held their annual May Day celebration May 23, recognizing twenty young women who epitomize the spirit of Mary, as chosen by their classmates. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano celebrated a Mass inside the school, followed by an outdoor ceremony at the school’s Marian grotto that included a crowning of the Mary statue by May Queen Sarah Bronk.
