The Muslim Catholic Alliance will host several upcoming conversations on Muslim-Catholic relations.
“Pope Benedict XVI: Interfaith Initiatives: Muslim/Catholic Perspectives” will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Hickey Conference Center at the diocesan Pastoral Center, 1150 Buffalo Road, Gates. The event will feature Catholic speaker Father Joseph Marcoux, Muslim speaker Dr. Mohammad Rumi and moderator Sister of St. Joseph Judy Greene.
The topic “Do We Worship the Same God?” will be discussed during a forum at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at Nazareth College’s Shults Center Forum, 4245 East Ave., Pittsford. The event will feature Catholic speaker Deacon George Dardess, Muslim speaker Dr. Mustafa Abushagur and moderator Dr. Christine Bochen.
