Nationally known singer, speaker to give concert in Bath

All are welcome to St. Mary Church in Bath for a performance by Jesse Manibusan, a nationally known singer, songwriter and inspirational speaker.

He will appear Sunday, May 17, at 3 p.m. at St. Mary, located at 32 E. Morris St. Refreshments will be served before the concert and during intermission.

The requested admission cost is simply to bring an item that will help Catholic Charities minister to the many needy people in Steuben County. Suggested donations are canned food, cereal, laundry detergent, canned tuna, feminine-hygiene products, brownie mix, dish soap, spaghetti sauce, shampoo, soap, pasta, dried milk, baby wipes, deodorant, crackers, cookies, jelly, diapers, toothpaste, boxed macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, cake mix, vegetable oil, Hamburger Helper and pancake mix.

Free-will offerings also will be accepted at the concert to support teens attending the National Catholic Youth Conference in Kansas City this coming fall.

Manibusan, a resident of Grapevine, Texas, travels the country giving retreats and concerts. He was a featured performer at the most recent NCYC, held in 2007 in Columbus, Ohio.
