Bowling is a difficult sport to shoot. First of all, it’s dark (or in this case really dark) so stopping motion and illuminating the bowlers is a challenge. And second, you can’t get in front of the action without getting right into one of the lanes, tough to do when other people are bowling nearby. So it’s nice when you can get an interesting photo that has nothing to do with any of that. I took this silhouette when I was covering a St. Rita School outing to Empire Lanes in Webster.
