A prayer service and ribbon-cutting was held Sept. 6 to celebrate the opening of the seventh and eighth grades at Notre Dame High School in Elmira. There are currenly 48 students enrolled in grade 7 and 42 in grade 8 and according to school president Sr. Mary Walter, RSM, the students are adjusting well and the school year is off to a great start.
