Noise can arise from necessity

To the editor

In reply to Joanne Lepkowski’s letter in the March 2007 issue of the Catholic Courier, these are some comments. Many single mothers have no choice but to bring their little ones with them to Mass. Our church is fortunate to have a cry room. It is separated from the altar by a huge heavy glass door.

Each Roman Catholic Church has a tabernacle on the altar with a lit candle beside it. It denotes the presence of Christ dwelling within. Many Catholics do not acknowledge this factor and merrily walk by without genuflecting.

I learned the Catholic Church was the true church. There may be many churches in the world. It’s always good to know that there is one holy apostolic church. Many find this to be true each year when the Easter Vigil is celebrated. Love in Christ and our Blessed Mother.
