Father Robert McNamara, a church historian and diocesan archivist who is a former professor at St. Bernard’s Seminary, will celebrate his 96th birthday and his 70th anniversary of ordination during a Mass at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4536 St. Paul Blvd.
After Mass there will be a reception in the Parish Center until 2:30 p.m. All his friends and former students are invited. Father McNamara’s birthday is Nov. 3, and his ordination anniversary is Dec. 8.
