A free two-day football camp, open to all students in grades 9-12 for the 2013-14 school year, is being offered at Elmira Notre Dame High School, 1400 Maple Ave.
The camp will take place June 1-2 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m each day. Serving as director will be John Evans, site director of the Buffalo Bills/National Guard High School Player Development program. Evans is a 1972 Notre Dame graduate and the head football coach at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse.
Campers will take part in drills, football and life-skills lectures, and a 7-on-7 tournament. The camp will feature football coaches from all over the region as well as Buffalo Bills and former National Football League players.
