The northwest Monroe County regional parishes and communities is holding the Believing is Seeing retreat, which will examine faith and how it empowers us to see what the rest of the world cannot. The retreat will involve St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Hamlin, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport, St. Leo in Hilton and St. John the Evangelist in Spencerport and the communities of the Newman Oratory in Brockport and migrant ministry in Brockport.
The retreat will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 6, and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 7, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3747 Brick Schoolhouse Road. The Sunday event will include discussion by Michael Theisen, former diocesan director of youth ministry. The Monday event will feature songs, stories and personal reflection and will be led by Sister of St. Joseph Donna Del Santo.
