NY Eucharistic Congress buses to leave from Honeoye, S. Tier

Blessed Trinity/St. Patrick parishes in Tioga County are sponsoring a bus trip from the Southern Tier to the New York State Eucharistic Congress Oct. 21. The congress will take place Oct. 20-22 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Martyrs in Auriesville.

The bus will depart from St. Mary Church in Corning at 4:45 a.m., St. Mary Our Mother Church in Horseheads at 5:20 a.m., St. James Church in Waverly at 6 a.m. and St. Patrick Church in Owego at 6:40 a.m. The bus is expected to arrive at the Shrine of Our Lady of Martyrs between 9:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

The bus is expect to depart Auriesville around 5:30 p.m. after the eucharistic procession, with the last drop-off in Corning expected to be before 10 p.m.

Seats on the bus may be reserved for $65 per person. The deadline to register is Sept. 20. To register, call the Blessed Trinity Parish Office at 607-687-1068.

In addition, the deadline has been extended to reserve a seat on a bus to the congress that will depart from Honeoye in Ontario County Oct. 21.

Organizers expect the bus will depart from St. Mary Church at 7 a.m. and return to the parish by 11 p.m.

Seats on the bus may be reserved for $65 per person, which also covers the cost of breakfast, dinner, a boxed lunch and snacks on the ride home. The deadline to register is Oct. 1.
