October’s winner was Krysha Pierce, a seventh-grader at St. Joseph School in Auburn. In response to Why should we love God better than any other person or thing? Krysha wrote, “We should love God better than any other person or thing, because he loved us so much that He gave his only son so that we could have eternal life with him in Heaven. He loves us more than any other person or thing could. No matter what we do that can hurt Him, He is always ready to forgive us, and love us the same as someone who hasn’t sinned, and He will always welcome us back into Heaven.”
