Bishop Salvatore R. Matano celebrated the Solemn Mass of Chrism at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral March 30. During the liturgy, priests from across the diocese renewed their priestly vows before Bishop Matano blessed the sacred oils — the Sacred Chrism, the Oil of the Sick and the Oil of the Catechumens — which will be used at diocesan parishes through the year.
