OLPH holds final Mass

About 200 people came to say goodbye Jan. 9 during a Mass that marked the closing of Rochester’s Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. “Our memories will always be there,” Deacon Daniel Hurley remarked during the liturgy. “Bricks and mortar are not important. …What we do here is recharge our batteries to do God’s work out there. That’s what we have to continue to do.” (Click here to view more photos from this event and/or buy prints.)
