To the editor:
(In recognition of Mothers’ Day) we all have two mothers, one in heaven and our birth mother.
Just as Our Lady in the Hail Mary looks after us, most of us have a birth mom.
My mom and I did not always get along, but I am proud of her. She passed 12 years ago. I don’t know if you heard of her, but her name was Mary Burke, a pro-life sidewalk counselor for 25 years!
In the heat, wind, rain , snow, ice and freezing cold she battled at Planned Parenthood for 25 years. … My mother offered what Our Lady of Fatima said on May 13, 1917: Pray the rosary.
The weapon against evil and the devil (for) the life of the world is through prayer.
