Santacruzan, a traditional Philipinne pageant and procession honoring the Virgin Mary and St. Helen, was held May 31 at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Greece. The procession, which involved 70 people, was full of symbolism, with each participant representing a piece of the pre-Christian and Catholic history of the Philippines. As they walked around the church, everyone in attendance prayed the rosary aloud and a choir sang hymns praising Mary.
