Each Advent, the Parish of the Holy Family in Gates presents Glimmers of Love, an evening of music, readings and prayer, which took place this year on Dec. 6. The evening concludes with a tree lighting featuring lights purchased by parishioners in memory or in honor of loved ones, with proceeds benefitting a local charity.
