St. Mary’s of the Lake Parish in Ontario will host a series of Lenten presentations at the church, 5823 Walworth Road.
Father Peter Clifford, pastor of St. Michael’s Parish in Newark, will speak March 5 about the church’s mission of evangelization, and Father Robert Bourcy, pastor of St. Patrick’s Parish in Macedon, will speak March 12 about the person of Jesus, the son of God and Mary.
On March 19 Sister Doreen Glynn, CSJ, pastoral administrator of St. Mary’s, will talk about the proclamation of Jesus, and on March 26 Father James Jaeger, pastor of the Catholic Communities of St. Anne and St. Gregory in Palmyra and Marion, will talk about Jesus’ teachings on nonviolence and forgiveness.
Deacon Jim Nail, pastoral minister at St. Mary’s, will give an April 2 presentation about Gospel values and the transformation of society, and Father Symon Peter Ntaiyia, temporary parochial administrator of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Elmira, will give an April 9 presentation on contemplation and action.
Each evening will begin with prayer at 5 p.m.
