The Parish Stewardship Committee of Henrietta’s Church of the Good Shepherd and the Diocese of Rochester’s Office of Stewardship and Development will present a parish stewardship seminar from 5-9 p.m. May 18 at the diocesan Pastoral Center’s Bishop Hickey Conference Center, 1150 Buffalo Road in Gates.
The seminar is geared toward pastors, pastoral administrators and parish lay leadership and is intended to help parishes begin or enhance existing stewardship programs. Father Marcel H. Bouchard, director of stewardship for the Diocese of Fall River, Mass., will be the keynote speaker. Father Bouchard is a member of the International Catholic Stewardship Council Board of Directors and pastor of Corpus Christi Parish in East Sandwich, Mass. Stewardship leaders from the Diocese of Rochester will also present their insights, experiences and materials during the seminar.
There is no charge for the seminar, and light dinner foods and beverages will be provided.
