St. Mary Parish in Canandaigua will host an informational session about the permanent diaconate from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 19 in Dougherty Hall, which is in the basement of the church at 95 N. Main St.
The event is open to men between the ages of 31 and 58 who are interested in learning more about the permanent diaconate and beginning the discernment process. Wives of interested men also are invited to attend.
