Pandemic forces Rochester Diocese churches to forgo festivals

After two years of cancelling their annual summer and fall festivals because of COVID-19 restrictions, parishes across the Diocese of Rochester are resuming their events this year. Here is a list of festivals taking place this year.

Monroe County

St. Rita Fiesta, Webster — taking place Aug. 5-6

St. Stanislaus Polish Arts Festival, Rochester — taking place Aug. 5-6

St. Josephat Ukrainian Festival, Rochester — taking place Aug. 18-21

Finger Lakes

St. Mary Summer Festival, Canandaigua — lawn sale and clothing boutique taking place Aug. 17-18; festival midway taking place Aug. 25-27.

Southern Tier

Ithaca Peace Festival, Ithaca — taking place Sept. 16-18

St. Patrick Fall Festival, Owego — taking place Sept. 17-18.
