Parishes plan 2024 Corpus Christi eucharistic processions

The following Diocese of Rochester parishes are planning 2024 eucharistic processions in honor of The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, Corpus Christi, June 1-2, 2024.

Auburn

St. Mary and Martha Parish, St. Mary Church and Our Lady of the Snow
St. Mary Church, 15 Clark Street
Sunday, June 2, 2024
Eucharistic adoration begins at 2:30 p.m., followed by 4 p.m. solemn vespers and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.

Clifton Springs/Phelps/Shortsville

St. Peter Parish
At St. Dominic Church, 7 W. Main St., Shortsville
Following the 10 a.m. Mass
Procession will take place around the perimeter of St. Dominic. Procession will go through the parking lot towards Booth Street, up Route 21 and back to Main Street. The procession will make its final stop at the Marian shrine in front of the church for Benediction. It will return to the church for final Benediction, repose of the Blessed Sacrament and a concluding hymn.

Corning

All Saints Parish
At St. Mary Church, 155 State St., Corning

Following the 10:30 a.m. Mass
Solemn adoration until 7 p.m.

Greece

Our Mother of Sorrows Church

Following the 11 a.m. Mass. Procession will take place on campus grounds or indoors if there is rain.

Following the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Procession will go out to Lake Avenue, down Railroad Avenue, onto Main Street, back to Lake Avenue and return down Old Hojack Lane.

Interlaken

The Parish of Mary Mother of Mercy
At St. Francis Solanus Church, 3660 Orchard St., Interlaken
Saturday, June 1, 2024
Following the 4 p.m. Mass. The procession will go outside, weather permitting. The procession will include three Benedictions with the singing of eucharistic hymns and teachings of Jesus read from the Gospels.

Ithaca

Immaculate Conception Church

Sunday, June 2, 2024
Following the 10:30 a.m. Mass
Also, all-day eucharistic adoration vigil starting June 1 at 10 a.m. and ending June 2 at 6 a.m.

St. Catherine of Siena
309 Siena Drive
Sunday, June 2, 2024
Following the 11:30 a.m. Mass. Procession will start from church and will go around Siena Drive and St. Catherine’s Circle before returning back to the church.

Odessa/Watkins Glen

Schuyler Catholic Community
At St. Mary of the Lake Church, 905 N. Decatur St., Watkins Glen
Following the 10 a.m. Mass. The outdoor procession will turn south on Decatur, left on 10th Street, and walk to Perry Street. It will then turn left and walk to 8th Street. Once it reaches 8th Street, the procession will then turn left and return to St. Mary’s for Benediction.

Pittsford

St. Louis Church

Following the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Adoration and confession will be offered after the procession until 1 p.m.

Rochester

Cathedral Community

Following the 11:15 a.m. Mass. Procession will make a loop around the parking lot.
Also, there will be Holy Hour at 3 p.m.

Following the 10:30 a.m. Mass. The procession will take place on Maple Avenue and back through the private driveway on East Street.

Waverly/Newark Valley/Apalachin/Owego
