The course of Anthony F. Nicoletti’s life was shaped in large part by his Catholic upbringing, so it’s no surprise that there are plenty of references to Catholicism in his new memoir, Nino: An Extraordinary Life of a Common Man.
In his book Nicoletti, who belongs to St. Louis Parish in Pittsford, shares the story of how his Sicilian-immigrant parents met in New York City, got married and raised seven children in Rochester. He also details his childhood and the many experiences he had as a professional who traveled the globe and met famous people.
“I think whoever is a Catholic that grew up in the city (of Rochester) would have a lot of memories come back when they read this,” said Nicoletti, who is a graduate of Aquinas Institute in Rochester.
Nino is available at Barnes and Noble. It also may be ordered in either paperback or Nook e-Reader version online at barnesandnoble.com.
