Peace of Christ Parish will commemorate the 100th anniversary of its founding at its first roots, St. John the Evangelist Church, 553 Humboldt St. in Rochester. A celebratory Mass will take place at 11 a.m. Oct. 5 at the St. John the Evangelist Church site, followed by a reception in the parish hall from noon to 3 p.m.
