People lack understanding

To the editor:

When a woman has a miscarriage, we say sorry about the loss of your baby, not your fetus. Does this mean we say baby only when the woman wants her unborn child? Admit it or not; it’s a baby whether just conceived or ready to enter the world.

A woman having an abortion gives someone permission to murder her child. Would she do that once the child was born because the timing was wrong, they were too young or had too many kids? People are not educated enough on abortion and don’t understand what happens to that helpless child.

When we die is God’s choice and His choice only. If He didn’t want a child to be born He wouldn’t let it happen. Too many people are taking God’s will in their own hands. This needs to stop.

Regarding partial-birth abortion, why carry a child to term and then decide you don’t want it? The baby is being delivered in the breech position and the doctor takes the brain out of the baby. Minutes away from birth, a child is murdered! This is inhumane.

Many people out there aren’t able to have children and would love adopt. Before consenting to end your baby’s life, think what’s best for them. Give them the life they deserve — the life God intended for them and let someone adopt them instead of ending their lives.
