Permanent deacon information session set

The Diocese of Rochester is holding an information session about the permanent diaconate at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 at St. Mark Church, 54 Kuhn Road, Greece.

The session will provide an overview of the five-year application and formation process, the time commitment involved and ongoing ministry. Eligible applicants are single or married men of strong and active faith who have demonstrated a record of service. They must be between 35 and 62 years old at the time of ordination, in good health, emotionally mature, and stable in professional and personal relationships.
