Pray, don’t worry, about terrorism

To the editor:

Instead of worrying about the terrorists, there are other interests we can abide by. Worry never helped, so why bother. What is to be, will be. If we could only press a button and stop all of these endangering threats. One would have to be a man of power from God.

These terrorists are forever planning to attack various locations on our planet. After the World Trade Center bombing, our country is on alert.

On top of everything else, then, we have the war with Iraq. Our government wanted to capture Saddam because of all the evil and murderous acts he performed in his country for many years. He always was after our country in hopes to bomb us. Of course, the Iraqis rebelled, so war began. Many volunteered for the service, but thousands of our fine soldiers were killed in battle or otherwise. Most of all, which is sad, many countries are against this war. We, the United States, have to encourage them to become better relations with us. It was only inevitable for Iraq to fight back after we declared war on them. All in all, will we ever get out of this mess?

Our prayers must come from our hearts in order to receive a better result. Let’s take a day at a time. God bless America!
