On June 22, Bishop Salvatore R. Matano presided at a Year of Mercy Mass at Rochester’s Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Mass also celebrated the feast day of St. John Fisher, patron saint of the Diocese of Rochester. During Mass, Bishop Matano also offered prayers for the victims and family members of the mass shooting in Orlando Fla., and called for an end to all acts of senseless violence
