To the editor:
It was sad for me to hear that Judge Scalia passed away and before he was laid to rest how people became like vultures about who would take his seat on the Supreme Court.
It is truly heart-breaking and inhumane how America will not defend the right to life from conception to natural death. Millions of babies are slaughtered while no one seems to care. Now "Planned Parenthood" is selling fetal body parts. A country without grace will fall someday. We still have not learned from the Holocaust that murdered 6 million Jews and some 1.2 million more people.
St. Maximillian Kolbe stated once: "You must be prepared for periods of darkness, anxiety, doubts, fears, of temptations … For if there were nothing to bear, for what would you go to heaven? If there were no trials, there would be no struggle. Without a struggle, victory would be impossible, and without victory, there is no crown, no reward."
In closing, I pray for Judge Scalia’s soul and for his family during this difficult time. I pray that a pro-life, God-fearing man or woman is to replace Judge Scalia.
