ROCHESTER — The Focus Pregnancy Help Center will mark a decade of service to women and their babies during a celebration this month.
The center will host the 10th-anniversary event from 1 to 4 p.m. June 27 at 135 University Ave., Rochester.
Several Catholic parishioners opened the center to offer women in the community self-administered pregnancy testing, donated baby clothes, referrals, alternatives to abortions and counseling. All services are free, said Mary Jost, the center’s director.
To continue providing services at no cost, the center needs additional volunteers and donations of diapers, baby formula and clothing, she said.
