To celebrate the publication of his new book, You Did It For Me: Care for Your Neighbor as a Spiritual Practice, Father Kevin McKenna will conduct a 7 p.m. book signing and discussion on Friday, June 17, at the Barnes & Noble bookstore at the Mall at Greece Ridge Center.
Father McKenna, pastor of St. Cecilia Church in Irondequoit, will address the examples of Jesus and his life of prayer and action on behalf of social justice as the norm for Christian spirituality. His book includes profiles of Rochesterians engaged in this type of spirituality.
