Priest to lead talk on ‘Chronicles of Narnia’

Father Jim Fennessy, parochial vicar of the Roman Catholic Community of Geneva, will give a presentation about the 2005 movie, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” at 7 p.m. March 30 at St. Mary Parish in Waterloo.

The presentation is intended to help parents and their children open new avenues of communication and discuss the Christian values found in the movie, which is based on the C.S. Lewis book of the same name.

The evening will include activities and refreshments, and it is recommended for families with children in fifth grade and older. The event is sponsored by the religious-education staffs of St. Mary, the Roman Catholic Community of Geneva and St. Patrick Parish in Seneca Falls.
