Father Denis Wilde, who champions the pro-life movement as an associate of Priests for Life, is due to make several stops in the Rochester area in early November.
He will first speak on Friday, Nov. 7, at St. Theodore Church, 168 Spencerport Road, Gates, at 6:30 p.m. On Nov. 8, Father Wilde will be in front of Planned Parenthood, 114 University Ave., Rochester, at 10 a.m. leading the rosary. At noon that day, he will celebrate Mass at Focus Pregnancy Help Center, 86 University Ave., two doors down from Planned Parenthood.
Father Wilde will then say the homilies at all weekend Masses Nov. 8-9 at St. Stanislaus Church, 1124 Hudson Ave., Rochester. Masses are at 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 and 11 a.m. Sunday, as well as a Latin Mass at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Father Wilde is an Augustinian priest and professor at Villanova University. He will give special emphasis to post-abortion issues, as well as the use of music to communicate the pro-life message.
