The diocesan Presbyteral Council elected officers on Sept. 2.
The officers are: chairperson, Father Robert Schrader; vice chairperson, Father Joseph Marcoux; and secretary, Father Paul English, CSB.
The following priests were recently elected to the council, and their terms will expire in June 2017:
* Father Joseph P. McCaffrey, Monroe West Deanery
* Father Sergio Chavez, Monroe East Deanery
* Father Hoan Dinh, West Deanery
* Father Patrick L. Connor, South Deanery.
Father Lewis E. Brown was appointed to the newly created position of Senior Priest. His term also expires in June 2017.
