The public is invited to two events in Livingston County being led by priests.
St. Luke Parish will hold its parish mission Oct. 21-24 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Leicester. Mass will be held each day at 8 a.m., followed by morning conference from 9 to 10 a.m. and evening conference from 7 to 8 p.m. The mission’s theme will be on spiritual healing. Serving as presenter will be Father Emmerich Vogt of Oakland, Calif., a priest of the Holy Name Province of the Dominican Order.
In addition, Father Gerard D’Souza, OCSO, who serves as abbot at the cloistered Abbey of the Genesee in Piffard, will make a rare public appearance Oct. 22. He will speak on "Desire and The Word" at 7 p.m. at Doty Auditorium, SUNY Geneseo.
