Pray to Mary for end to COVID, abortion

To the editor:

Let us have a day of fasting, almsgiving and prayer on Mary’s feast day, December 8. Let us sometime throughout the day pray a rosary for Mary’s intercession on COVID-19. Also, more importantly the end of abortion.

The rosary was used to gain the Battle of Lepanto. The victory was won because of the intercession of the Blessed Virgin through the recitation of the holy rosary.

Her Immaculate Conception should never be forgotten because through St. Joachim and St. Anne the miracle of life took place, and that was two lives — Jesus and Mary.
