All applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the order determined by the random lottery. Applicants then will be contacted in priority order to determine eligibility. Carlson Commons will open in phases starting in June and continuing into the fall.
Available for rent are 77 affordable two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom townhomes and single-family homes at scattered sites in the Plymouth-Exchange neighborhood and on Fulton Avenue. Seventy-six of these homes are new construction. One home is renovated.
All units feature full basements, washer/dryer hookups, front and back porches, paved off-street parking, play space, green space and landscaping. Four of the townhomes will be wheelchair accessible. All units are on or close to public-transportation lines. A Community Center offering laundry facilities and community-meeting rooms will open in the summer.
