Providence Housing Development Corporation, an affiliate of diocesan Catholic Charities, has set a deadline of 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 11 for rental applications to a lottery for its new Union Meadows II apartments, currently under construction in Chili.
These units are for families and seniors with incomes less than 50 to 60 percent of the area median income. Preliminary rents for range from $430 to $600 plus utilities for one- to three-bedroom homes with one-car garages; they will be ready for occupancy between February 2010 and May 2010. Five of the homes will be wheelchair accessible; two homes will be adapted for hearing or vision impairments.
Applications can be obtained from Union Park Apartments, 49 Union Square Blvd., North Chili, or by calling 585-293-9150. Applications received after the close of the lottery will be placed on a waiting list.
