Three nationally known Catholic speakers are due to lead the fifth-annual Rochester Catholic Men’s Conference on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Registration is currently open for the event, which features the theme “Rebuilding the Family: At Home, Through the Church, In Sports.” Speakers will be Dr. Ray Guarendi, a Catholic psychologist, author and speaker; Tom Nash, an apologist and speaker for Catholic Answers, a national lay apostolate; and Father Joseph Freedy, vocations director for the Diocese of Pittsburgh and former quarterback at the University of Buffalo.
The conference is open to men from all over the Diocese of Rochester and will take place at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Road, Gates. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m., and the event is set to run until 4 p.m., with Bishop Salvatore R. Matano celebrating Mass at 8:30 a.m.
